Bellingham events
- Tides & Tunes at the Pier, a free outdoor acoustic concert at Central Avenue Pier, will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 4. The event is put on by the Downtown Bellingham Partnership on the first Fridays of June, July and August at 1211 Granary Ave.
- BBQ, Beats & Booms at Hotel Bellwether, a Fourth of July celebration with fireworks, live music and BBQ, will run from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 3. The event costs $85 for adults and $75 for children 10 and under, and tickets are available online in advance. Hotel Bellwether is at 1 Bellwether Way in Bellingham.
- Dragonfly Outfitters and Kayak Tours is hosting a Fourth of July BBQ from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 4. The event is free to attend and includes free BBQ and face painting, discounted kayak tour bookings and kayak and paddleboard rentals for the fireworks. The free event is at 704 Coho Way.
- The Peoples 4th of July Spectacular, a Fourth of July event and fireworks show put on by Peoples Bank, the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Port of Bellingham, runs from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 4. The free event includes live music, fireworks, food trucks, face painting and other vendors. The event is at Zuanich Point Park at 2600 N Harbor Loop Dr.
- The Bellingham Farmers Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through the third week of December at the Market Depot Square at 1100 Railroad Ave.
- The Bellingham Dockside Market features fresh fish from local fishermen and a variety of vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 4 and Saturday, July 18 at Squalicum Harbor, 2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive.
- The annual NW Tune Up Festival is returning to Bellingham’s waterfront from July 10-12. The ticketed event includes live music, mountain bike races, food trucks and more. Parts of the event is also free to attend. The festival is at 1100 Granary Ave.
- Bellingham Pride also takes place the weekend of July 10-12, with multiple events on tap.
- The Fairhaven Chicken Fest returns to Bellingham from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18. The free event includes carnival games, a chicken themed costume contest, live music, vendors, exhibits and other activites for all ages. The festival is at Fairhaven Village Green at 1207 10th St. in Bellingham’s Fairhaven neighborhood.

Live music in Bellingham
- Stone’s Throw Brewery has free live music for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout the month. For the lineup of artists, check the brewery’s website or Facebook page. Stone’s Throw Brewery is at 1009 Larrabee Ave.

- The Aslan Brewing Co. Depot welcomes local artists throughout the month. For the music lineup, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. Depot is at 1322 N. State St.
- Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music all month. For the music lineup and locations, check the schedule online.
- The Blue Room, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live performers and performances, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.
- The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar, regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.
- Wild Buffalo House of Music, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live music from a variety of bands and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. Wild Buffalo House of Music is at 208 W. Holly St.
- Bar Two Eleven, a bar and music venue, regularly hosts live music and concerts. Tickets are available online in advance. Bar Two Eleven is at 211 E Chestnut St.
- Admiralty Lounge, a restaurant and lounge, regularly has live music from a variety of musicians from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays. Admiralty Lounge is at 100 N. Commercial St.
