Influencer Mikayla Nogueira went back to a shade of brunette after followers criticized her attempt at going blonde

Mikayla Nogueira is putting a stop to her blonde transformation.
Over the past two weeks, the influencer, 28, has taken followers along as she transitioned from brunette to blonde over several salon appointments — but it hasn’t exactly been well received.
Fans haven’t held back from commenting that they don’t like the shade of blonde that Nogueira has been appearing with in TikTok videos. It seems the feedback has gotten to the beauty influencer, because in a video shared on Tuesday, June 30, she reveals a new brunette look.
“WE ARE SO BACK LOLLLL,” she captioned the clip, which showed her sporting dark brunette waves with curtain bangs.

In another video shared the same day, Nogueira explains her decision.
“The internet has successfully bullied me into getting rid of this hair,” she says. ” … Listen, I get it. I tried it. But this situation on top with this, I’m going to the salon. I’m not going to say that I hate the hair, because I don’t hate it, but there’s a lot of issues with it obviously.”
She continues, “At this point, you guys have seen my hair in so many different colors: black, dark brown, light brown, warm brown, cool brown, even red, and I have never received such a negative reaction to a hair color until this. And overall at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what the internet thinks, but I agree with the sentiment.”
“This is my final form,” Nogueira says in a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, July 1. “I love it. I think it is very pretty, it’s not as harsh as the black but it has enough dimension and depth that it feels like me.”

Last month, Nogueira shared that she experienced a medical emergency while filming content.
In a clip she posted to TikTok on June 12, the influencer wears a hospital gown and flats as she walks through the hospital with an IV.
“Pov: you passed out from severe pain while filming a makeup Tik Tok, called 911, rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, and now you’re getting emergency appendix removal surgery,” she wrote over the video, captioned, “So I just had my appendix removed 😳.”

Following concern from her followers, the influencer shared a follow-up video after being discharged from the hospital.
She recalled experiencing “discomfort and pain” while flying home to Massachusetts from Los Angeles. When she made it home, she attempted to “sleep it off,” before waking up to even “worse” pain in the morning, she said.
“And I tried to push through, figured it was just a stomachache, pain, I don’t know, so I decided to film,” the influencer continued. “I was doing a makeup video, and while I was filming the room began to spin and I couldn’t breathe and I fell on the floor and I just passed out.”
When she woke up, she called 911 and was rushed to the hospital, where she was told she needed emergency surgery because her appendix was “going to rupture.”
“I have three incisions on my stomach and I can’t really walk,” she shared, before adding that her boyfriend Zach is taking care of her, “which is really sweet of him.
