Swifties around the world are counting down the hours until Taylor Swift officially enters her married era. The award-winning pop star is reportedly just days away from tying the knot with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, whom she’s been with since 2023.
Ahead of the highly anticipated ceremony, there have been countless questions about the big day—including who planned everything.
The Hollywood Reporter recently revealed that Mark Seed has been behind all of Swift and Kelce’s intricate plans. Seed is a creative event planner at Exposure NY, but he’s only available “by special request.”
The outlet reported that Seed and his team have led the charge on wedding plans for stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Billie Lourd, and Swift’s longtime friend and collaborator, Jack Antonoff.
Antonoff married actress Margaret Qualley in August 2023 in New Jersey, and Swift was in attendance. She must have liked what she saw and called Seed after she and Kelce got engaged in August 2025.
Page Six previously reported in June 2026 that Seed is “renowned for never, ever talking about his clients.” They also noted that he’s “best known for his architectural design,” adding, “He can build something spectacular out of nothing.”
Swift is allegedly taking advantage of Seed’s genius, as multiple outlets reported that she had a stage and castle built for her and Kelce’s July 3 wedding at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden.
According to TMZ, the enormous castle is “being built inside a garden,” suggesting that the world’s most famous arena will be “transformed into a full-blown fairytale.”
Although it’s a cute idea, some guests have described Swift’s request for a stage at her wedding as the “ultimate egotistical” move.
“Most brides want to be the center of attention on their wedding day, but Taylor is already one of the most famous women in the world. The idea of her performing at her own reception is being viewed by some people as the ultimate egotistical wedding plan,” a source told RadarOnline.
Meanwhile, other attendees are in full support of Swift’s alleged desire to perform at her and Kelce’s special day. “There are guests who think it would be incredible entertainment,” the insider added.
Still, they pointed out that most people “feel a wedding should be about celebrating the couple rather than staging another Taylor Swift show. It’s certainly getting people talking.”
“Taylor lives and breathes music, so nobody would be surprised if she wanted to sing,” another source said. “But some people are joking that even on her wedding day, she can’t resist stepping onto a stage. That’s the perception among critics, whether it’s fair or not.”
