The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks celebrates its golden anniversary in 2026 with its most ambitious production to date. Organizers have planned a massive 27-minute display featuring more than 85,000 shells in 30 colors, highlighted by a laser show across the Brooklyn Bridge and signature finale effects that will light up the New York City skyline. The anniversary edition is expected to be one of the largest Independence Day celebrations ever staged, honoring both the event’s 50-year history and the nation’s semiquincentennial.
