Zendaya embraced the spirit of ancient Greece as she stepped out in London to promote Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film The Odyssey, turning heads with a look inspired by the mythology at the heart of the movie.
The actress was joined by her husband and co-star Tom Holland for the latest stop on the film’s press tour, where the couple appeared alongside an all-star cast ahead of the movie’s July release.
A Red Carpet Look Inspired by Athena
For the London photocall, Zendaya wore a custom Jacquemus halter gown that perfectly reflected the epic’s Greek influences. The elegant white design featured a dramatic low-cut back, a subtle slit at the back of the skirt, and a coordinating headscarf that elevated the ethereal aesthetic.
Her longtime stylist, Law Roach, revealed the inspiration behind the ensemble, saying the look captured “the essence of Athena,” referencing the Greek goddess and the character Zendaya portrays in the film.
She completed the monochromatic outfit with one of her signature footwear choices, slipping into a pair of white Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps.
Zendaya also leaned into the film’s historical themes with carefully selected jewelry. She wore Glenn Spiro Materials of the Old World earrings, designed to resemble ancient gold coins or archaeological artifacts, along with two Barron Twist rings that complemented the timeless look.

Throughout the promotional tour, she’s already showcased several outfits that nod to ancient Greece, including elegant gladiator sandals and a flowing white dress that echoed classical silhouettes.

The story follows Odysseus as he attempts to make his way home after the Trojan War, facing legendary creatures, impossible obstacles, and the wrath of the gods during one of literature’s most famous adventures.
