Pictured greeting Federer were the Duchess of Gloucester, the Princess of Wales’s mother Carole Middleton, who wore a pale blue blazer, and Kate’s sister Pippa Matthews, who opted for a summery white dress dotted with red flowers.
As patron of the All England Club, Kate visited the grounds on Thursday to hand out tickets to those in Wimbledon’s famous queue, and watched British men’s singles hopeful Arthur Fery play his second-round match against Finland’s Otto Virtanen.
