Michael Strahan doesn’t like to get emotional on Good Morning America—especially when it comes to fashion.
The TV host, along with co-hosts Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, and George Stephanopoulos, welcomed celebrity stylist Law Roach to GMA on June 29 to promote the newest season of Project Runway. The group asked Roach about dressing major celebrities, and Michael thought it would be fun if Law could rate everyone’s outfits. But as it turns out, his fellow co-stars weren’t exactly into the idea.
“So we thought we’d do something where you critique our outfits—nah, I’m joking,” Michael stated in the YouTube clip. “We’re not going to do that. We don’t want to cry here on GMA this morning!”
Robin, Lara, and George freaked out over the suggestion, and Lara noted Law already gave her a thumbs-up before the segment. And much to the relief of the other hosts, Law had nothing but high praise for everyone’s looks.
“Let me say this—you guys always look amazing,” Law replied, as Robin patted Michael’s shoulder.
Fans also sounded off about the outfits.
“Mr. Strahan, that’s a nice floral tie 🎉,” one person wrote in the YouTube comments. “💛✨💛✨💛✨💛✨💛✨💛✨💛✨,” another penned on Instagram.
Michael knows a thing or two about fashion, and has owned his self-titled lifestyle brand for the last 10 years.
“10 years of @michaelstrahanbrand hallelujah 🤣🙏🏾,” he wrote on Instagram in May.
Well, maybe there’s a case for Michael to appear on Project Runway in the future!
