The Princess of Wales was pictured blowing kisses to young patients at a children’s hospital in London.
The Princess, 44, hailed the “brave” youngsters at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, of which she is a patron, during her visit on Monday.
The specialist medical facility, in central London, works to help some of the most ill children in the country and aims to become the capital’s most comprehensive child health facility.
The Princess, who has been its royal patron since 2018, told Arjun, 10, that she had visited the facility to meet “brave children like yourself”.
Speaking to the youngster, who suffers from serious cardiac problems, she said: “It’s very nice to meet you. I have come to see all the amazing work that’s going on here and meet very special and brave children like yourself. How long have you been here?”
He responded that he had been at the hospital “a long time”, to which the Princess said: “A long time. Have you lost count? Have you made some nice friends? No? Maybe you will do. Maybe they haven’t come long yet.
