Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married, and it seems they’re already expanding their family.
According to TMZ, the “Blank Space” singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end have welcomed a dog into their lives. Speculation about their new furry friend began circulating online after Swifties spotted a framed photo at their wedding showing them holding a fluffy white puppy. Online sleuths then linked the pup to a clip from April 2026 that featured a dog that looked just like it jumping into one of Swift’s cars.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed the news, but during a February 2025 episode on the Fitz and Whit podcast, Kelce’s older brother, Jason, announced that the Chiefs player adopted a puppy. Jason also revealed that the pup ruined Kelce’s new “green velvet, over-the-top couches.”
“I’m not gonna say the dollar amount—but I’m like, dude, what are these couches?” Jason recalled, noting that his younger brother defended the purchase by saying, “It’s an investment. It’s art.” Just a few months later, one of the couches ended up being pushed against the wall because, according to Jason, “the puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.”
However, during an October 2025 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Swift dismissed rumors that she had a dog. “I have never walked a dog in Florida, or maybe ever,” she told the host when asked about reports of being seen walking a pup. “They should be able to run free. Let ‘em loose. They come back. Don’t they come back? That’s the cool thing about dogs. You call them, and they just come back.”
The rumor comes as a surprise to many, since Swift is famously devoted to her three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Still, sources told RadarOnline that becoming pet parents to a dog could be a great next step in her relationship with Kelce.
“Friends have smiled at the rumors because Taylor and Travis have always talked about building a life together,” one insider told the outlet. “Whether or not the dog is officially theirs, people around them see the excitement as reflecting a couple settling into married life and looking toward the future.”
