Tavia Hunt denied claims about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding being “chaotic” or running out of champagne
The wedding featured a secret garden theme with performances by Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks for guests
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, which included unique touches like handkerchiefs embroidered with Swift’s song lyrics
Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt‘s wife, Tavia Hunt, is criticizing a new report about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding.
The report alleged that the wedding had a buffet, and quoted a guest who said this decision was “tacky,” with another alleging that the ceremony and reception were “slightly chaotic” with celebrities like Julia Roberts and Steven Spielberg having to “stand in line” for food.
Digital creator and podcast host Zack Peter discussed the report in an Instagram Reel, prompting Tavia, 54, to respond in the comments.
“This is such a false narrative,” Tavia wrote. “They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines.”
She added that “every single person was seated for the ceremony” and called the bride and groom’s vows “spectacular – beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect.”

“It could not have been a more fabulous experience,” Tavia added. “And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay – not truth.”
A source told PEOPLE exclusively that the 14-time Grammy winner and the NFL player, both 36, were “beaming” all night during their wedding, which featured a “whimsical” secret garden theme.
“A huge smile never left either of their faces,” the insider said, sharing that the “fun” ambience included “so many games,” raffles and other “added excitement” for their guests.

The wedding was officiated byAdam Sandler. A source told PEOPLE exclusively on Tuesday, July 7 that the comedian “said yes right away” to serving as the couple’s officiant. “He was incredibly honored to be part of such a special day,” the insider added.
Guests were gifted handkerchiefs embroidered with lyrics from Swift’s song “Blank Space,” and enjoyed performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks after the ceremony.
