One of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding guests has some bad blood with rumors regarding the couple’s headline-making ceremony.
After the singer-songwriter wed the NFL player July 3 in a high-profile wedding inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden, event guest Tavia Hunt — wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt — lashed out online at a “false narrative” she said stemmed from false rumors.
“This is such a false narrative. They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony,” Tavia wrote on Instagram in response to podcaster Zack Peter’s coverage of the wedding, which included coverage of unconfirmed reports that there was “not enough champagne” and that “guests had to stand through 40 min of vows” at the wedding.

She went on to calls Swift and Kelce’s vows “spectacular,” describing them as “beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect” in the moment.
“It could not have been a more fabulous experience,” Tavia stressed.
She then criticized the podcaster for fueling the rumors, finishing her comment by replying, “And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay — not truth.”
Before replying to Peter’s video, Tavia shared several photos of her family from the night of the wedding.
“All dressed up in New York for a night that already feels like a song,” Tavia wrote underneath the series of images.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding drew mass amounts of celebrities to the New York City arena, with Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks performing for attendees like Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, and numerous NFL personalities.
