Three New Jersey contestants are joining ‘Big Brother’ Season 28. Meet the Maplewood, Washington Township and Monroe Township houseguests.
‘Love Island USA’ may be ending, but another popular summer reality show will soon take over the reality television spotlight.
‘Big Brother’ revealed the 14 Season 28 houseguests who will move into the ‘Big Brother’ house during the show’s 90-minute premiere on Thursday, July 9, on CBS.
These contestants, plus additional cast members who will be revealed on air, will all compete for the show’s $750,000.
According to Paramount, the Season 28 cast includes a Drag Race Allstar, a MMA fighter, a rocket scientist, a game show host, a daughter of an ’80s pop star and more.
“This new group of Houseguests is stepping into a summer where nothing is as it seems, where every twist rewrites the rules, and where time becomes the ultimate twist,” CBS in a statement.

Here are the 14 houseguests who will enter the ‘Big Brother’ house on Thursday:
- Yash Patel, 24: A financial analyst from Monroe Township, NJ
- Rick Devens, 42: A TV journalist, who is also a “Survivor” alum from Blacksburg, VA
- Jason De Puy, 35: “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum and drag queen from San Francisco
- Ashley Trail, 24: A bartender from Alton, IL
- Barrett Pfeiffer, 27: A jumbotron engineer from Benton, AR
- Chuk Anyanwu, 27: A supply chain analyst from Dallas, Texas
- Drew Campbell, 22: A surgical dental assistant from Temecula, CA
- Haley Thogmartin, 29: A telemedicine executive from Neosho, MO
- Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk, 32: MMA Fighter from Phoenix, AZ
- LaTrice Verrett, 57: A boutique salesperson from Kankakee, IL
- Lyric Medeiros, 25: An attorney from Honolulu, HI
- Mallory Aurichio, 24: A rocket scientist from the Township of Washington, NJ
- Melody Morris, 24: A corporate game show host from Thornton, CO
- Rome Seymour, 28: A pickleball coach from Traverse City, MI
- Taylor Brown, 27: An elementary school counselor from Deerfield Beach, FL
