The Wardrobe.NYC x H&M collection won’t be available to shop until August 6, but Adéla has already taken it for a spin—during Paris Couture Week, no less. Last night, the pop star joined a starry crowd at Le Grand Café, nestled inside the Grand Palais, to fête the upcoming collaboration and celebrate its official launch with an exclusive first look at the collection. On hand were stars like Teyana Taylor, Audrey Nuna, Laura Harrier, and Wardrobe.NYC founders Josh Goot and Christine Centenera—all decked out in the highly anticipated capsule, of course.
For the occasion, the “Superscar” singer turned to a tried-and-true going-out formula: head-to-toe black. She based her look around a strong-shouldered suit coat, a silhouette firmly embedded in the sleek Wardrobe.NYC DNA, that she elevated into party territory. Underneath, the star wore a mesh bodysuit styled with a micromini skirt done in a sleek suiting fabric. To finish the look, Adéla went full throttle with a pair of PVC sandals that inched up to her knees—sure to be one of the most coveted statement pieces in the forthcoming launch. Adéla’s signature bubblegum-pink hair and bold tangerine eye shadow applied liberally were the final touches.
Before making her way to the Grand Palais—one of Paris Couture Week’s buzziest destinations—Adéla invited ELLE along as she got ready for the evening, from the glam chair to polishing her look (and, yes, a classic mirror picture). Follow along below.
