What’s on this week’s New Music Friday playlists?
New Music Friday albums 💿
The Rolling Stones are back, and no, they’re still not taking it easy. Their 25th studio set Foreign Tongues finds Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood once again doing what they do best: serving up swagger, snarl and stadium-sized rock’n’roll with a knowing wink. Following 2023 chart-topper Hackney Diamonds, the band’s latest set packs bluesy bite, loose-limbed grooves and enough veteran mischief to remind everyone exactly why they remain one of music’s most untouchable forces.
Produced by Andrew Watt, the record also ropes in some serious star power, with guest spots from Paul McCartney, Robert Smith and Chad Smith.
Is a 15th Official Number 1 album on the horizon?
