NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A model from Newport News was crowned the winner of popular reality show Sunday night.
According to USA Today, Trinity Tatum, alongside her newfound partner Bryce Dettloff, were revealed to be the winners of Love Island USA Season 8 after receiving the most votes from fans.
For their victory, Trinity and Bryce will take home a shared prize pot of $100,000, which they are said to be splitting down the middle.
The couple of Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt were the runners-up.
Trinity was one of the 12 cast members revealed in May.

Prior to the first episode, Trinity said that she wanted a fresh start, and that she was hoping to find a respectful man.
