New week, new music, new Eurovision round-up! Here are our picks and highlights of the many new releases from within the extended Eurovision universe this week. What are your favourites? And what could we have missed?

Listen to the Official TES New Music Round-up playlist

The official playlist of ThatEurovisionSite’s new music round-up! All the best new releases covered in recent weeks, in one master playlist, updated every week:

If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages, each filled to the brim with excellent music:

Former Eurovision artists

🇵🇹 Mimicat – “Acústicos para o verão, porque não?”

Mimicat releases a 3 track acoustic EP for summer. The Eurovision 2023 singer from Portugal has rerecorded 3 of her best summer songs, to deliver a beautiful “Quiet Take” rendition. Mimicat has consistently released incredible music since her appearance on the Eurovision stage in Liverpool with “Ai Coração”, and this new release is no different. All 3 tracks are recorded live and acoustic, and are classic Mimicat delivery, with Portuguese flair and joy throughout. Fans of anything Portuguese music, Mimicat or just damn good vocal talent will enjoy these versions of Mimicat’s songs.

🇨🇭Luca Hänni – “Different Life”

Following the release of Luca Hänni’s “Vertigo” earlier in the year, the Swiss pop singer has released “Different Life”. Both songs are co-written with Benjamin Schmid, songwriter behind many recent national final entries, as well as 2025 Eurovision Maltese song “Serving” for Miriana Conte. “Different Life” is in a completely different lane to much of these previous tracks from both Schmid and Hänni, however. Both “Different Life” and “Vertigo” see Luca deliver a much more personal, emotional, boy-bop sound. It’s not the big dance vibe of “She Got Me”, but it’s definitely a style that suits Luca’s voice. Hänni has matured as a singer and performer since his 2019 Eurovision stint, and these tracks really show off that evolution in sound.

🇧🇬 Kristian Kostov – “Youth to Waste”

Kristian Kostov has already had a busy 2026. From performing as part of the 70th anniversary interval act at Eurovision in Vienna, to the launch of his new music persona Kian on songs such as “Shh!” and “Digital Lover”, and the release of a fragrance line for good measure. The Bulgarian singer is back with another track this week as well. “Youth to Waste” sees Kristian feature on up and coming artist david hugo’s latest boy-pop love song. As well as being similar to Kostov’s recent releases as part of his Kian project, the song sounds incredibly inspired by the likes of Troye Sivan or LAUV. It’s electric, pop love song vibes that Kristian does so well. Eurofans need no reminding of Kostov’s talents, after all he holds the record for scoring the most points in the Grand Final but not actually taking the win, with his 2nd placed song “Beautiful Mess” in 2017. This new era of Kristian Kostov (and his Kian persona) is really exciting!

🇷🇸 Sanja Vučić – “Evropa”

Serbian pop princess Sanja Vučić is a 3 time Eurovision participant. First, as a solo artist at the Contest in 2016 in Stockholm with the song “Goodbye”, which placed 18th in the Grand Final. More recently, as a member of girl group Hurricane, Sanja was selected to represent Serbia at the 2020 Contest with the track “Hasta La Vista”, before the cancellation of the contest due to Covid. Hurricane were re-selected in 2021 with the song “Loco loco”, eventually placing 15th in the Grand Final in Rotterdam. In 2022, the original members of Hurricane left the group to pursue solo careers, and new members replaced them. Sanja has had a successful career in music and television in the Balkans. Most notably, the singer performed a rendition of Käärijä’s “Cha Cha Cha” as an interval performance in the 2024 PZE national final, as well as hosting and performing a Eurovision mega-mix in the 2026 edition of the selection show. Latest release from the singer is a live recording of her performing “Evropa”.

🇬🇪 Nutsa – “By My Side”

Georgia’s “Firefighter” (Eurovision 2024) Nutsa is back with another track, after a string of releases in 2026 already. Latest single “By My Side” is a very different vibe for the singer, with a much more soft vocal. The song feels more personal than anything Nutsa has released before, and has almost a jazz bar feel. If you’ve only ever heard of the Georgian singer from her time on the Eurovision stage (or her infamous appearance as the Georgian Jury spokesperson in 2025), then this may be a track to check out to surprise you.

🇸🇲 Piqued Jacks – “Cambio Forma”

Following Piqued Jacks release of “Specchio” earlier this year, the San Marino 2023 Eurovision band have released 3 track EP “Cambio Forma”. The EP features previous single “Speechio”, as well as title track “Cambio Forma” and new song “Dove Andrei”. All 3 songs are actually very good Italian indie-rock, a much more refined sound than their Eurovision entry “Like An Animal”. The second track on the EP, “Dove Andrei”, is particularly enjoyable rock, and if you discounted the Italian band after their Liverpool semifinal performance, give them another chance. Alternatively, if you, like me, were a fan of Piqued Jacks from their time on the Eurovision stage and follow-up releases, this only cements them as a talented indie-rock outfit. Either way, give it a listen. Piqued Jacks deserve a redemption.

🇷🇸 Željko Joksimović – “Habanera : Summer Vibe 2026”

Željko Joksimović has a long history with the Eurovision Song Contest. The Serbian singer came 2nd at the Contest in Istanbul for Serbia & Montenegro in 2004, with “Lane Moje”, which is often regarded as the best Balkan song to not win the contest. After Marija Šerifović won the contest for Serbia in 2007, Joksimović was appointed as one of the hosts of live Eurovision shows in Belgrade. He also went on to represent Serbia in 2012, with the song “Nije ljubav stvar”, ultimately placing 3rd in the Grand Final in Baku. Željko Joksimović has also acted as a songwriter for some of the Balkan’s biggest successes in Eurovision. Songs which feature Željko Joksimović on the writing credits include Bosnia & Herzegovina’s 2006 entry “Lejla”, Serbia’s 2008 host entry “Oro”, and Montenegro’s 2015 song “Adio”. It’s safe to say that Željko Joksimović is a legend not just in the Balkans, but within the Eurovision community too. His latest single, “Habanera : Summer Vibe 2026”, is a vibey, summer Balkan bop. Imagine “Lane Moje”, but with a cocktail on a white sand beach in blazing sunshine.

🇬🇷 Loukas Yorkas – “Sti Zoi Mou Meine”

At the close of voting in the 2011 Eurovision Grand Final held in Düsseldorf, Loukas Yorkas and Stereo Mike finished in 7th for Greece with the track “Watch My Dance”. Loukas took a break from music after the contest, releasing a few songs in 2012 before concentrating on other projects. Since 2017 however, Loukas Yorkas has been back and busy, dropping multiple singles. The latest of which, “Sti Zoi Mou Meine”, is a pleasant, country-rock-pop song, sung in Greek. The track shows Loukas can still sing, and is a happy, guitar ballad sound. It’s a toe-tapper for a Greek sunset.

🇦🇱Ronela Hajati – “Mala Gala (Live Version)”

Ronela featured on last week’s round-up, with her new single “BALUKE”, but the Albanian singer has even more music. Ronela has released a live version of her 2025 hit “Mala Gala”. The track has been recorded as part of the launch of a new Albanian podcast, The 111 Concept, which sees artists interviewed on a road trip, performing reaching their destination to perform a live track.
