Molly Tuttle announced as headliner for bluegrass festival in Avon

Molly Tuttle is added to complete the 2026 Avon FreeFall Bluegrass Festival lineup with three full days of music and camaraderie in the heart of the valley. Headliners already announced include Railroad Earth, Bluegrass Generals and Ross James’ Electric Deadgrass featuring Nicki Bluhm, Alex Koford, Garrett Sayers, Bill McKay plus special guests Bill Nershi and Paul Hoffman. “We’re super excited to add another female artist to the lineup, especially one with as much talent and breadth in the bluegrass genre as Molly Tuttle,” says event producer Diane Moudy. Moudy, owner of Resort Entertainment Group, which is a privately owned, full-service entertainment and event company based in Vail, has more than 20 years of experience planning and producing events throughout the United States and Mexico.

The inaugural FreeFall Bluegrass Festival in Avon takes place Oct. 9-11. 

Three-day general admission passes and three-day VIP passes as well as single day tickets are for sale. Gates open at 2 p.m. Oct. 9 with music starting at the Avon Pavilion at 2:30 p.m. Gates open at 11 a.m. Oct. 10 and 11, with music starting at 11:30 a.m., and wrapping up each night at 9 p.m. The VIP experience includes a designated entrance, two drink tickets per day, luxury restrooms, dedicated viewing area and more.
