Pure Energy Music, the complete music and technology solution for the fitness industry, has announced a new collaboration with some of the world’s best-known fitness DJs, bringing together artists who have become synonymous with the sound of HYROX, DEKA, ATHX and the wider functional fitness community.
Launching soon within the Pure Energy Music app, the new dedicated category will give members access to exclusive DJ mixes, original music, curated playlists and immersive content created by DJs already soundtracking some of the world’s biggest fitness events.
The first confirmed collaborators include Zakk Wild, Logun DJ, Percy No Mercy and Tom Seed, with further UK and international artists set to join the platform as the project expands.
Created specifically for the demands of functional fitness, every mix is designed to support movement, intensity and performance, whether users are preparing for competition, training in the gym or pushing through their next workout. The experience will be enhanced by new in-app visuals, allowing members to see the featured DJ while listening, creating a more immersive connection between the music, the artist and the workout.
The launch reflects the continued growth of functional fitness and fitness racing, with more gyms, coaches and athletes looking for music that’s built around how they train, rather than generic workout playlists.
The collaboration also builds on Pure Energy Music’s growing presence within the sport, including its appointment as Official Music Partner for DEKA UK. At DEKA Manchester 2026, Pure Energy Music will deliver one of the first event soundtracks tailored specifically to the demands of competition, combining live DJs, purpose-built playlists and music engineered to support athletes from the first warm-up through to the finish line.
