Instagram is globally rolling out Replace Audio, allowing users to change the music on published feed posts and carousels without deleting and re-uploading them — all the while, preserving all of their existing likes, comments, and reach.
Until now, updating the music on an existing post meant deleting it and starting over. Replace Audio makes it easy for creators to keep their content current without sacrificing the engagement they’ve already earned — whether that means updating a post with a newly trending song, supporting an artist’s latest release, or just refreshing seasonal content.
The feature is another step in Instagram’s continued effort to build tools that give creators more creative freedom and flexibility to evolve their content, even long after it’s been published. Previously Instagram updates included profile grid re-ordering, multi-caption carousels, and new audience insights tools for creators.
Last month, Instagram also launched Instagram Plus, a new subscription designed to give users exclusive features. The new subscription is an optional upgrade for users who want more control, deeper insights, and premium features.

• Search Viewer List – Quickly check if a specific person viewed story.
• Custom App Icon – Choose own app icon from a curated selection designed by Instagram and Instagram creators.
• Custom Bio Font – Customise the font of profile bio to match users personal style.
• More Profile Pins – Pin up to 6 posts to profile to highlight what matters most.
• Post Directly to Profile – Post to profile or highlights without it appearing in friends’ feeds.
