NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Spare Time Entertainment has launched a free summer bowling program for children in the Northampton area through a partnership with Kids Bowl Free.
The program allows children ages 15 and younger to receive two free games of bowling each day from May 1 through September 30.

According to Spare Time, the initiative is expected to provide thousands of free games to local families throughout the summer. Families can register online and will receive weekly digital passes for participating children.
“This is one of the most meaningful programs we run all year,” a spokesperson for Spare Time Entertainment said. “It’s about giving families a reason to get out together, stay active, and create some real memories without worrying about cost.”
The company said families also have the option to purchase a Family Pass, which allows parents, grandparents, and siblings to bowl at a reduced rate. Spare Time Entertainment said the program is designed to offer families an affordable activity that encourages children to stay active and spend less time on screens during summer vacation.
Officials noted that the Kids Bowl Free program has grown in popularity nationwide and continues to attract strong participation locally each year. Families are encouraged to register early as summer schedules begin to fill up. Registration information is available through the Kids Bowl Free registration page.
Spare Time Northampton features bowling lanes, an arcade, and a full-service restaurant. Additional information is available on the company’s official website and Facebook page.
