In the latest episode of PEOPLE’s WAG World series, Nicole Williams English opens up about her longtime friendship with the Kardashians star and how she played a role in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model’s return to reality TV.
“I have been friends with the [Kardashian] sisters for a really long time actually, since like early WAGs days,” English, 42, tells WAG World host Skyler Caruso on the Thursday, July 23 episode released exclusively on the PEOPLE app.

English, who is married to retired NFL player Larry English, and was an original cast member on E!’s WAGS series throughout its first three seasons from 2015 to 2017. She recalled meeting Kim Kardashian before she met Khloé, 42.
“Then, you know, we go to each other’s birthday parties,” English shared, noting that their friends, TV personalities Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson, would also attend. “I got really close with Kourtney [Kardashian] as well. We get together for events, the Christmas party, birthday parties, and we just all just meshed.”
“And so me and Khloé became really, really close,” Nicole continued.
Hulu’s upcoming series, The Girls, is executive-produced by Khloé and features English, Pierson, Halcro, Malika and Khadijah Haqq, and Yris Palmer. The show, which does not yet have a release date, will give fans a glimpse inside their “inner circle.”

“We are like a L.A. version of Sex and the City. You’re going to see a lot of really good fashion,” English teases. “A little bit of drama — behind every group, strong friendship, there’s some drama obviously. A lot of really cool events that we throw and parties.”
“Our kids, we throw down for our kid parties,” she stresses, adding, “And then, you know, the moms and we like to have fun! So it’s a mixture of fun, drama, fashion, got makeups, breakups, there’s lots going on.”

Nearly one decade later, the four-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is ready for her reality TV return.

“Me, Nat and Liv talked about it for a really long time… We would read our comments every time we post a picture together and they’re like, ‘Bring back WAGS, bring back WAGS,’” English says of the reality show.
“We know we’re not bringing back WAGS, but we’re like, what can we deliver because our fans want us back on TV and we loved being on TV, and filming together. We were brainstorming and Nat and Liv were texting me. I was out of town, but they were at a birthday party with Khloé,” she says.
English said the girls told Khloé at the party that they wanted to get back on TV — and the Kardashians star took immediate action.
“She texted somebody and made a couple of phone calls,” English reveals on the WAG World. “A couple of weeks later, we were on a Zoom. A couple of weeks later, we were filming a pilot. I was like, ‘Wow, that happened fast.’”
