It seems like Kim Kardashian always has a new business venture, project, or partnership to promote, but one thing that remains consistent is her dedication to a skintight look.
On Saturday evening, the Skims founder attended the launch of the “Focus Lab” pop-up in Los Angeles, a space dedicated to her new caffeine-free energy drink label, Update, which she co-founded with Daniel Solomons and the Hess family.
For the event, Kardashian wore a plunging black bodycon dress from Ludovic de Saint Sernin, a piece that brought to mind some of her most memorable past ensembles, from the body-hugging Balenciaga outfit she wore to the 2021 Met Gala, to her fitted, velvet Vivienne Westwood LBD from the 2019 Emmys.
This design featured an inky bodysuit layered underneath a sheer slip, with laces looping up the sides. To parallel these details, Kardashian wore a pair of black stilettos with ties that zig-zagged up her legs, and she completed the look with an inky leather opera coat draped across her arms.
Throughout the rollout for Update, Kardashian has pulled out a variety of PR stunts, from unveiling a striking bleached bob à la Marilyn Monroe (someone who the All’s Fair star has looked to for inspiration in the past) to poking fun at the fact that she has yet to pass the California state bar exam. “I didn’t pass the bar. I raised it,” Kardashian joked in one promotional post.
But no matter what new ventures she takes on, Kardashian’s best trick will always be her ability to pull out head-turning fashion.
