The source added, “They sat together during the movie; she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”
A few days later, Holmes and Yarmosky were photographed hugging as they walked to dinner in New York City.
People reported that Yarmosky was Holmes’s boyfriend in late July.

Yarmosky earned his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010 and has spent more than a decade exploring themes of aging, memory, identity, and the passage of time through his artwork.
His paintings have appeared at institutions including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Guild Hall in East Hampton, and Bergdorf Goodman’s Fifth Avenue windows.
His grandparents have been muses for his work.
Some of Yarmosky’s best-known work centers on his grandparents, who were the subjects of his paintings for more than a decade. They were his muses as he explored aging in his work.
Speaking to the School of Visual Arts in 2016, Yarmosky reflected on why he always gravitated toward that subject.
“The art that speaks to me the most is personal,” he said. “For me, it’s not about conventional beauty. In our society, we don’t celebrate getting older. We celebrate youth, but it’s inevitable that we all age. So why can’t we celebrate the full life cycle?”
During a 2013 interview with Artnet, he described what he hoped viewers would see in his Elder Kinder series. “I wanted to bring out the inner, youthful aspect that we all have as we get older,” he said.
He also spoke about how his work evolved beyond physical aging into something more emotional.
“The last two shows I did, I was working primarily with my grandparents, but I was also using them as stand-ins for a more universal concept. The difference with this show is that I’m focusing more on them on an intimate level.”
Asked how he feels about growing older himself, Yarmosky replied, “Nobody should want to be young forever. You should want to enjoy all of life.”
He added, “We shouldn’t limit ourselves to just one idea of beauty; we should accept it all.”
His career has included exhibitions across the United States and abroad.
His work has been shown in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Brussels.
Earlier this year, Guild Hall in East Hampton presented his solo exhibition, Time Has Many Faces, which explored many of the same themes that have defined his career.
In 2025, Bergdorf Goodman featured his portrait series Timeless Women in New York in the Fifth Avenue department store’s iconic windows.
Speaking with WWD about the project, Yarmosky discussed how fashion shapes the personalities in his portraits.
“I’m inspired by the overlap between costume and fashion; how a dress can convey personal style and yet create a persona.”
He continued, “The right garment can embolden a sitter to reveal themselves, expressing identity and personality. Each portrait unveils a timeless woman, mirrored in fashion, revealing unique qualities I find to be of New York.”
He was selected for the 2026 Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program.
Earlier this year, Yarmosky was one of 10 artists selected for Chanel and the Tribeca Festival’s annual Artist Awards Program.
The initiative commissions original works by contemporary artists that are presented to winning filmmakers during the festival.
Yarmosky celebrated the honor on Instagram, writing, “Thrilled to be part of this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and Chanel’s artist program. Thank you @zoelukov! ❤️”
