CAMP WASHINGTON, Ohio (WKRC) — A new exhibit at the American Sign Museum shines a spotlight on a unique piece of American entertainment history.
“Freaks & Sideshows: American Circus Banners 1920 to 1970″ features colorful circus banners that once promoted sideshow attractions across the country. The museum says the collection offers a look at how traveling circuses advertised their performers and drew crowds during the mid-20th century.
“Freaks & Sideshows” opens Thursday.
