Following Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement in August of 2025, the internet exploded with conjecture on the venue of the popstar’s upcoming wedding. Celebrity news outlets and Swift fans identified Swift’s Rhode Island mansion as the wedding location – before new updates pointed towards Madison Square Garden in New York City.
While Swift’s and footballer Travis Kelce’s wedding will seemingly occur elsewhere, the singer’s oceanside estate in Westerly, formerly known as “Holiday House,” has seen various lavish parties over the years.
While Rhode Island Swifties hold their breath hoping for Swift to confirm an Ocean State wedding, here’s a look back at all the parties Taylor Swift has thrown at Holiday House over the years.
Fourth of July parties
Swift’s iconic Independence Day bashes in Rhode Island have been dubbed “Taymerica” parties by her fans. After buying “Holiday House” in 2013, Swift threw Fourth of July parties annually until 2017, hosting members of her “squad” including Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Ed Sheeran, Lena Dunham and Emma Stone.
From 2017 to 2022, Swift took a break from celebrating the Fourth in Rhode Island, leading many fans to question if the singer’s holiday tradition was over. However, in 2023, Taylor Swift once again returned to Rhode Island for July 4, celebrating with Selena Gomez and Haim sisters Este, Alana and Danielle.
“Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies,” Swift captioned an Instagram post featuring photos of the friends posing on the mansion’s lawn, laughing in its kitchen and enjoying red, white and blue popsicles.
On July 4 of 2024, the popstar’s Eras Tour saw her singing before crowds in Amsterdam. Last year on Independence Day, Swift reportedly celebrated quietly with Travis Kelce at Yellowstone Club, an exclusive, secluded resort spanning 15,200 acres of the northern Rocky Mountains in Big Sky, Montana.
Birthday bash
In August 2024, Swift returned to her Rhode Island mansion for Blake Lively’s birthday blowout, which was reportedly attended by Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Travis Kelce, Jason and Kylie Kelce and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.
Lively and Reynolds’ four kids, who are Swift’s godchildren, were also in attendance, as well as Bradley Cooper’s daughter.
