“Abbott Elementary” star Lisa Ann Walter accidentally let a curse word fly while appearing on Monday night’s “Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions” competition.
Walter faced off against marketing specialist TJ Fisher and technology manager Mike Dawson during the episode but had more than a few hiccups in her game.
She was already in the red by a negative $200 when she got an answer wrong and blurted out “What the hell?” with a laugh.
The response prompted laughs and gasps from the in-studio audience.
Walter’s game didn’t improve the rest of the evening, ending up with a final total of -$2,600, eliminating her from competing in “Final Jeopardy!”
The actress did better during her appearance on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2024, ultimately being crowned champion of season 2 and earning a $1 million donation to the Entertainment Community Fund.
When asked during Monday night’s game about the trophy that came with the prize, Walter said, “I’m going to be buried in it, it’s my urn. I fought for it, I won it and it’s going to go to good use. And I’m not kidding, it is now in my will.”
Walter loves her trophy so much, she told The Daily Beast in 2024, “Once I won, I said, ‘I’m good now.’ I don’t have to win anything else.”
She added, “I mean, I’d still like an Emmy and an Oscar — but do I have to win anything else? No, I don’t, because I’m a ‘Jeopardy’ champion.”
The winner of Monday night’s episode was Fisher, who will go on to the semifinals Tuesday night.
“Jeopardy!” airs weeknights on ABC.
