Abramorama Buys A Cappella Documentary ‘Just Sing’ (Exclusive)

Abramorama has acquired North American theatrical rights to “Just Sing,” a coming-of-age a cappella documentary set in a real-life “Pitch Perfect”-esque competition. It follows a make-or-break season with the SoCal VoCals, one of the most celebrated college a cappella teams in America, as they chase a record-setting sixth Icca title.

Abramorama will open the film on April 24 in New York City at the Quad Cinema and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle NoHo 7 for an Academy-qualifying run, followed by a platform release in tandem with the North American theatrical rollout. To amplify the film’s NYC and L.A. opening engagements, Abramorama partnered with Varsity Vocals and Theorem Media to launch a one day nationwide “Just Sing People’s Premiere” event on April 23, activating 40 on-demand screenings to engage collegiate a cappella teams nationwide.
