With the release of issue #19 of Absolute Batman scheduled for April, fans in the meantime were theorycrafting about characters like Absolute Scarecrow and Absolute Robin’s entry in the series.
But it seems like Scott Snyder himself has spilled a lot of tea about their identities and broader trivia in the upcoming issues. Talking to Kristoff Kirchoff (via Ig @kristoffkirchoff) at MoleCon 2026 about Scarecrow first, he said:
The next arc is really dark and twisted. I mean, Scarecrow has a higher kill count by issue #1 than any other villain that we have used so far.
Along with this info bomb, he dropped just how terrifying and dangerous Scarecrow will be in the Absolute Universe.
