Asha Bhosle died on April 12 at the age of 92 due to cardiac arrest. Her funeral was held at Shivaji Park Crematorium with full state honours. Her mortal body was wrapped in the tricolour flag and the last rites were conducted by her son Anand Bhosle. Her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle was also present alongside various celebrities who came to honour her.
