NYHC pioneers Agnostic Front have premiered a new music video for “Divided,” a standout track from their latest studio album, ‘Echoes In Eternity.’
The song originally appeared on the band’s 13th studio album, which arrived last November, and now receives a visual treatment directed by Todd Hubbard.
Speaking about the meaning behind the track, vocalist Roger Miret explained that “Divided” addresses growing social and political polarization, while urging listeners to focus on what unites people rather than what separates them.
“‘Divided’ confronts the rise of extremist ideology and the willingness to follow false promises even when the human cost is obvious.”
Miret continued:
“At its core, it’s a call to recognize our shared humanity before we’re pushed so far apart that we can no longer find our way back together.”
Known for tackling social issues throughout their decades-long career, Agnostic Front continue that tradition on ‘Echoes In Eternity,’ pairing the band’s trademark hardcore aggression with commentary on the state of the modern world.
