Terry Crews announced he will be hosting the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks celebration on NBC.

With Independence Day coming so soon, people all over the country are ready to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States. And one of the biggest ways they’ll be doing that is by watching Macy’s annual 4th of July Fireworks celebration.
In addition to learning that the iconic event will take place Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, fans also recently found out who is set to host the big night. And it’s none other than the America’s Got Talent star. Of course, with news this big, Terry took to Instagram to reveal how honored he is to be taking on this role.
“Now THIS is my kind of party!” he excitedly wrote alongside a promo shot of himself on June 23. “I’m thrilled to be hosting the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC! Fireworks, music, energy, and millions of people coming together to celebrate—it doesn’t get much more iconic than this!”
“I’ve always loved moments that bring people together, and this event is one of the biggest and most legendary celebrations in the country,” he added. “I’m honored to be a part of it, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store! Let’s celebrate BIG. 🇺🇸💥. July 4th. @NBC & @Peacock.”

This is definitely a fun gig for Terry—and let’s not forget that he has a lot of experience in the hosting game. In addition to AGT, he is also emceeing the series 100 Cooks, which airs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on Food Network.
