Aladdin JR. and KIDS light up Sheboygan stage this October

SHEBOYGAN – Dare to Dream Theatre is set to present Disney’s “Aladdin” Oct. 3-12 at the Sheboygan Lutheran High School Center for Arts and Performance.

The production will feature two adaptations: “Aladdin JR.,” a 90-minute musical based on the Broadway version, and “Aladdin KIDS,” a 40-minute show inspired by the original animated film, according to a community announcement.

The story follows Aladdin as he teams up with a lively Genie to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and outwit the villainous Jafar. The show promises dazzling costumes, magical moments and a cast of young performers.

Multiple performances planned

The performance schedule includes an opening night at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3 with “Aladdin JR.,” multiple shows on Oct. 4-5 featuring both versions, schooltime matinees at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 9, and a finale at 2 p.m. Oct. 12 with “Aladdin JR.”

Tickets are available online, and donations are encouraged to support the theater’s SchoolTime Matinee Fund, which helps offset costs for student audiences.

Dare to Dream Theatre also announced auditions for “Peter Pan JR.” in October and November, with performances scheduled for May 2026 and additional programming planned for summer 2026.
