ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Unexpected Treasures trailer, previewing the upcoming action movie about an alien on the run from an intergalactic bounty hunter. Unexpected Treasures is set to release on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ on September 19, 2025.
“Struggling to scrape by in the desert, Hartley’s world is thrown into chaos when she meets Sam, a mysterious alien on the run. As they navigate the vast Mojave Desert, Hartley must rely on local legends and an eccentric group of allies to survive,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the Unexpected Treasures trailer?
The trailer highlights the unlikely meeting between Sam (Mike Manning) and Hartley (Olivia Blue), the former of whom is an alien trapped on Earth and trying to avoid a bounty hunter. Their meeting kicks off an escape from Sam, with Olivia dedicated to doing what it takes to help Sam get home.
Unexpected Treasures comes from writer and director John Paul Ungaretti (Cobra Kai, Outer Banks). The film stars Daytime Emmy-winner Mike Manning (This is Us, Beyond the Gates), Olivia Blue (Animal Kingdom), Michael Dunn (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2), AnnaMaria Demara (War of the Worlds: Extinction), Lauren Han (Beef, Celebrity), and Jay Whittaker (The Orville, Let’s Go To Prison).
