All Eight Grammy Best New Artist Nominees to Perform on Show

All eight 2026 Grammy Award nominees for best new artist — Olivia Dean, Katseye, the Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren and Lola Young — will perform in a special segment at the show, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. While further details on how the segment will work were not immediately available, awards shows often have multi-artist performances delivered as tight medleys, although eight is a lot.

Variety 2025 Hitmaker of the Year Sabrina Carpenter has also been confirmed to perform on the show; additional artists will be announced in the coming days.

In addition to best new artist nods, Thomas is up for six Grammy Awards this year (best album for “Mutt,” along with four R&B awards) while Katseye are also up for best pop duo/group performance and Young is also up for best pop solo performance.

Kendrick Lamar leads the list of 2026 Grammy nominees with nine nods, followed by Lady Gaga and producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut with seven; Thomas, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, and engineer Serban Ghenea with six; and Clipse, Doechii, SZA, Turnstile, and Tyler, the Creator and producers Souwave and Andrew Watt with five.

The show will be hosted by Trevor Noah and broadcast live on at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.

The show will air one last time on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs). The show has aired on CBS every year since 1973; the Grammys’ 10-year deal with Disney, announced in 2024, begins next year.

Prior to the big show, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on live.Grammy.com.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will be produced by Fulwell Entertainment for the Recording Academy.  Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Trevor Noah are executive producers.
