All the artists pulled from Kid Rock’s Rock the Country festival tour

Three artists have now dropped out of Kid Rock‘s 2026 Rock the Country tour.

After rapper Ludacris said in mid-January he would not be on the festival tour, headlined by Rock and other vocal conservatives including Jason Aldean, two more artists – country singers Morgan Wade and Carter Faith – have reportedly backed out of the lineup.

Days after the lineup – which also includes Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Creed, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Nelly – was revealed on Monday, Jan. 12, a rep for Ludacris, 48, told Rolling Stone that the inclusion of the rapper was “a mix-up. Lines got crossed and he wasn’t supposed to be on there.” Media personality Ebro Darden also relayed the message that the rapper was “never” booked on the lineup.

The clarification came after uproar from fans, who reacted in confusion to Ludacris’ appearance. Fellow rapper Nelly has also faced similar backlash for performing on conservative stages in the past, including at the first Rock the Country festival and at President Donald Trump‘s inauguration.

Now, Wade also no longer appears on the lineup, with her management team confirming the news with Billboard. Faith reportedly responded to a fan asking while she was on the card, replying, “I’m not anymore!” Rolling Stone confirmed Faith is no longer set to perform at the festival, citing an unnamed source, despite her name remaining on the card as of Thursday, Jan. 29.

USA TODAY has reached out to the festival and reps for Wade and Faith for comment.

Wade, 31, has been releasing music since 2018 and has opened for Alanis Morissette and Shinedown. Faith, 25, has been releasing music since 2021 and dropped her debut album, “Cherry Valley,” in October. She is set to star in the forthcoming Netflix film “Heartland” alongside Jessica Chastain.

Rock the Country, which the “All Summer Long” singer founded in 2024, will kick off in May in Texas with eight weekends across the South, South Dakota, Michigan and New York through early September.
