Sabrina Carpenter hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time on Oct. 18, and also served as the episode’s musical guest. She was previously Jake Gyllenhaal‘s musical guest in 2024, and made cameo appearances in Quinta Brunson‘s 2025 episode and during the 50th anniversary special alongside Paul Simon and Pedro Pascal. Carpenter is a two-time Grammy winner for Short n’ Sweet (Best Pop Vocal Album) and “Espresso” (Best Pop Solo Performance).
