All Time Low Hit a New High as The Weather Tops the Alternative Charts

All Time Low are no strangers to big moments, but their latest achievement feels especially sweet. The band’s recent single The Weather has officially climbed to Number One on the Alternative Radio chart, giving the Maryland quartet the third chart-topping single of their career. The track follows the success of Monsters and Sleepwalking, with Monsters famously spending 18 weeks at the top of Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, the longest charting run in the history of the format.

The Weather earns its place. It is a bright, feel good anthem with a warm road trip energy and a guitar driven pulse that carries clear echoes of peak blink-182 without losing that unmistakable All Time Low groove. It is the kind of song that belongs on every party playlist and fans online are reacting exactly as you would expect. One YouTube commenter captured the nostalgia perfectly, writing, “Why is there no music that makes me feel as happy as emo pop punk.” Another added a more emotional take, saying, “I am 38 and still wear a lip ring. The emo songs I depended on as a teenager are less effective when the issue is political discourse, but something about my favorite emo bands being grown up now helps soothe the anxiety dragon.” A third summed it up simply: “A little bit of blink 182 vibes paired with the signature ATL groove.”

The chart victory lands during one of the busiest and most successful periods of the band’s career. All Time Low recently wrapped the first leg of their more than 30 date Everyone’s Talking! Tour, the biggest headline run they have ever undertaken. Next they head straight into an international sprint with dates in Australia, followed by a European leg that includes shows in Paris, Prague, Barcelona and a major night at London’s O2 Arena. They will be joined by Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong and The Paradox at select shows.

But the most touching moment of their season came not on stage, but at home. On November 26, 2025, Baltimore County and County Executive Katherine Klausmeier officially proclaimed the day “All Time Low Day,” celebrating the band’s career achievements and their ongoing charitable work. Baltimore mayor Brandon Scott also issued a Mayoral Salute recognizing their cultural impact and service to the community.

The band’s new era has been gaining momentum since the release of Everyone’s Talking!, their tenth studio album. It debuted at Number 2 on the Current Alternative Albums chart, Number 3 on the Current Rock Albums chart and Number 8 on Billboard’s Top Vinyl Albums. The record has already delivered a string of major moments, including the TODAY Show debut of The Weather, a surprise release of their track Oh No!, and a free concert for more than 21,000 fans at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas ahead of their When We Were Young Festival appearance.

Reflecting on how far they have come, frontman Alex Gaskarth recently shared that the band continues to think of themselves as a current act, not one leaning on past success. “Our music showcases us literally growing up,” he said. “We see ourselves as a current band, a current act that continues to push forward and not one that is just built on its legacy.”

More than twenty years after forming in Maryland, All Time Low are proving that their story is still being written. With a Number One single at radio, a global tour underway, and a community honoring their impact, The Weather is more than a chart hit. It is another reminder that All Time Low are still one of the most dependable, uplifting forces in modern rock.
