TikTok launched its ‘Share to TikTok’ feature last November with Spotify and Apple Music, as a way for people using those services to quickly share music tracks to the short-video app. Now Amazon Music is joining the party.
Its ‘Share to TikTok’ feature will work on its iOS and Android apps, and is built into the ‘Insights’ feature that Amazon Music launched in August. Songs, albums, playlists and other listening highlights surfaced in that can now be posted to TikTok “in just a few taps”, with Amazon Music’s original tracks also shareable via the feature.
This builds on the two services’ existing relationship, with Amazon Music having been an early partner for TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ feature, which powers sharing in the other direction: from streaming services to TikTok.
