High Desert local and “American Idol” star Chayce Beckham was wed earlier this fall to his 11-year partner, Ashley Britt.
The couple sealed the deal in classic Las Vegas style, officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The new couple then celebrated their Vegas wedding in Nashville with their closest friends and family. Chayce, 29, thanked his “amazing wife” on Instagram for putting everything together for the wedding celebration while the country singer was on tour for most of the year.
“Can’t wait to come home for good in December, love ya hunny,” he ended a caption of their wedding photos. Chayce is currently on an East Coast tour with country artist Warren Zeiders.
During the decade or so they’ve known each other, Chayce and Ashley broke up briefly before both moving to Nashville after the “American Idol” success and getting back together, this time for good. The couple has exciting plans for their future together, starting with buying or building a house, Chayce told Country Now.
The “American Idol” winner proposed with an original, love-pumped tune, titled “Holdin’ You, Lovin’ You,” which dropped Friday on music streaming services to celebrate his new marriage.
“This is such a special song for us. It’s about holding onto the ones you love,” Chayce shared. The singer promises his wife that their love is forever in the track, singing “When all I could give you was a song / Somehow you kept hangin’ on / So I’ll keep on holdin’ you, lovin’ you.”
Chayce’s team recognizes the evolution of his songwriting, noting that this new single marries his blues-soaked tone with timelessness and rustic lyricism.Chayce is currently wrapping up tour dates with Zeiders. He will then play a special Opry NextStage show with his 2025 Grand Ole Opry classmates at Nashville’s Category 10 in December, before returning to Nashville to let married life run its course. That is, until the next tour is booked.

Chayce is the only artist to win “American Idol” singing his own songs, his team says.
The Victorville-born singer was crowned after nearly three months of competition that started in February 2021 when “Idol” judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan began searching for the show’s next champion.
Among his successes are a No. 1 hit at country radio with the platinum hit single “23.” He also played the iconic Stagecoach Music Festival last year, a festival that also billed top country artists Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs.
