Leticia Cline, the girlfriend of American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe, has shared more photos of the aftermath of her injuries from the car crash.
The model and her reality TV star boyfriend were involved in a car accident on Friday, September 12, in Columbia, Tennessee. Mike shared the news of the crash and that he and Leticia were recovering in his Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 13. In one story, he showed a photo of the damaged blue vintage car. The vehicle’s front trunk was busted with the bumper hanging off, and one of the headlight’s broken. Mike expressed his thanks to those who “prayed” for him and Leticia.
While Mike was released from the hospital, Leticia stayed a few more days. She initially shared she suffered a “broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lungs and a lot of swelling” in her spine.
But Mike did have some bruising and discoloration from the collision which was visible in a photo Leticia shared on Tuesday, September 16 of him helping her walk through the hospital. Leticia wrote, referring to her swollen bruised face, “Having a permanent RBF wasn’t on my agenda this week but here we are.”
Mike was by her side in the photo, smiling as he had bruises on his nose and under his eye. On Wednesday, September 17, Leticia posted a photo of her jaw with a split open bloody wound under her chin and blood smeared on her neck and cheek. She wrote, “One lucky girl” in the photo.
She reposted Mike’s story that said, “Feels so good for @leticiacline and I to be home for a bit. Her surgery will be Monday. Please keep that good energy and prayers coming coming [sic].”
Leticia also posted some updates within her Stories. She shared that she was on so many drugs that “they’re worried about an accidental overdose” with a photo of a box of Naloxone nasal spray. Naloxone is an emergency medication used to reverse the effects of opioid (in terms of an overdose or possible one).
Her next post showed her bruised knees with cuts and yellowy and black and blue discoloration. She wrote, “My poor knees can never catch a break. So many surgeries and injuries on them over the years.”
The 46-year-old Beauty and the Geek star had another story with an update about her upcoming jaw surgery and also thanked Vanderbilt University Medical Center for their care. The update came attached with a photo of her swollen face and discolored bruising on her jaw.
“Swelling has gone down some today. Surgery is Monday. My jaw is broken in 3 places, on each side where it connects to my skull and right down the middle. The doctors are currently creating pieces to put into my jaw to make it work. I’ll have three incisions on the outside of my face for surgery, but they’re really positive for an almost complete recovery. However it will be a long recovery at that. I’m receiving the best medical care at @vanderbiltu,” she wrote.
