Amitabh Bachchan, accompanied by wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan, was among the prominent guests at the wedding of Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule’s daughter Revati and Sarang Lakhani in Mumbai on June 20. The star-studded ceremony also saw the presence of Ranbir Kapoor, Ravi Kishan and his wife, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Boney Kapoor and Chunky Panday, among others.
The wedding came days after Shah Rukh Khan grabbed attention at the couple’s pre-wedding celebrations with his energetic dance performance and heartfelt interaction with the bride and groom.
Videos from the wedding venue quickly surfaced online, offering glimpses of the grand celebration. Amitabh Bachchan arrived dressed in a white kurta-pyjama paired with a statement shawl, while Jaya Bachchan looked elegant in a pink saree. Shweta Bachchan also turned heads in a stunning traditional ensemble.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor was among the notable guests seen arriving at the festivities.
Bhojpuri star and politician Ravi Kishan also attended the wedding along with his wife. Several other well-known faces from the film industry gathered to bless the newlyweds.
Ahead of the wedding, the pre-wedding celebrations had already become a talking point on social media due to Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance. The superstar delighted guests with a lively performance to his hit song Koi Mil Gaya from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
In one of the viral videos, Shah Rukh was seen sharing a warm moment with the couple on stage. He hugged Revati, wished the couple well and affectionately kissed Sarang on the cheek before posing with the duo.
The actor later lit up the dance floor with his energetic moves. Dressed in a stylish black outfit, Shah Rukh also showcased a new hairstyle amid the ongoing shoot of his upcoming film King. Guests cheered as he joined the celebrations in high spirits.
Revati, granddaughter of veteran politician Sharad Pawar, studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science, while Sarang earned his MBA from Columbia Business School. Following their Mumbai wedding, the couple is expected to host a reception in Pune on July 5.
