Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are taking the next step together three years after news broke of their controversial romance.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach, 52, said on the Tuesday, October 14, episode of the “Amy & TJ” podcast, per Page Six.
Holmes, 48, added, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.”
Holmes shared that Robach had worn her engagement ring in public, around “crowds of tens of thousands of people” and “in everyone’s face,” but “nobody said a word.”
“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, just waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach said, as Holmes teased, “We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!”
News broke of the former GMA3 cohosts’ relationship in 2022, while Robach and Holmes were married to Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively.
