A few of Amy Robach’s friends are on the fence about her recent engagement to T.J. Holmes.
The former GMA 3 cohosts announced they were walking down the aisle on the October 14 episode of their eponymous podcast after being in a relationship for over three years.
An insider told Page Six on Monday, October 20 that some of Robach’s inner circle is hesitant about her and Holmes’ relationship.
“I don’t know many people who like T.J.,” said the source. “She still has her besties and anyone who truly cares wants her [to be] happy.”
Conversations surrounding the wedding “aren’t of excitement,” the source added.
According to the outlet, it’s not the first time friends have been weary of Robach’s romance with Holmes, 48. In 2023, Page Six claimed that pals were worried that the 52-year-old TV reporter gave up her career for love.

Snapshots of Robach and Holmes surfaced in 2022 looking lovey-dovey, despite being married to other people at the time.
ABC subsequently fired them from Good Morning America shortly after.
The pair dished about their engagement on their podcast earlier this month, saying that they had been engaged for about a month at that point.
“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,” Holmes said on the radio program. “We’re actually surprised that we’re just now talking about it. We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to.”
“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, just waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach gushed.
Holmes interjected, “We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!”
