Bombshell letters from the former Prime Minister Gordon Brown to the police ask for an investigation into more of Andrew’s activities as trade envoy following the disgraced royal’s arrest. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was splashed across front pages around the globe this week as he was taken into police custody. Authorities are investigating Andrew for misconduct in public office, suspecting that he may have forwarded privileged documents from official trade meetings to Jeffrey Epstein.

The former prince was released under investigation, which means there could be further questioning down the line. Andrew was a trade envoy between 2001 and 2011, a period which includes Brown’s stint at No. 10. It has been revealed that Brown sent five-page letters to police in London, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley, Norfolk and Bedfordshire, and said that they contain “new and additional” information. In the letters, Brown shares concern that Andrew chartered RAF flights for his own personal engagements, which could include his own meetings with Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has not directly responded to the latest allegations against him following his arrest on Thursday. However, he has previously denied any wrongdoing in connection with his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has not been charged.

The Sunday Telegraph has revealed that in the letters, Brown also shares concerns that Andrew could have shared confidential information from official meetings with others, such as Epstein.

Brown has blasted this as a “wholly unacceptable” use of public money. At the time. Andrew was dubbed “Airmiles Andy” for using taxpayer money to fly to business and private engagements, often happening after official trade envoy engagements.

He has called on police to interview people from four different government departments: the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Department for Transport, the Foreign Office and the Treasury, over Andrew’s role as trade envoy.

The letters suggest that Brown is concerned that official jets could have been used to facilitate meetings between convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and Andrew.

Additionally, Brown has requested in these letters that police look into whether Epstein was given access to RAF bases after his conviction for soliciting child prostitution in Florida in 2008. It comes as a jet carrying Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell landed at RAF Marham in 2000.

The jet was also carrying “two females”, as revealed by emails and flight logs disclosed by the US Justice Department. Epstein and Maxwell travelled 20 miles to the Queen’s Sandringham Estate from the RAF base.

Andrew allegedly organised their use of the base. Brown has also compiled a list of British runways used by Epstein, including airports in Norfolk, Belfast, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Birmingham, and London (Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Stansted). He wants the staff at these airports questioned.

He also called on police to examine what background checks were done on Epstein before he was given clearance for landing.

The King is now facing calls to remove Andrew from the line of succession. Andrew had already been stripped of his titles and forced to move out of Royal Lodge.

Charles III released an unprecedented statement following Andrew’s arrest this week. It reads: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.

“What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.

“Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.

“Charles R.”
