Andrew Schulz has never looked like this before. As the co-host of the popular podcast Flagrant and an acclaimed stand-up comedian, Schulz knows a thing or two about being ridiculous. But now, he’s embracing his transformation into the famous Street Fighter character, Dan Hibiki.
On his official Instagram, Schulz has revealed that his wife, Emma Turner, was not thrilled about the extreme look of Dan Hibiki.
The primary photo showed Schulz with hilarious flowing locks, while he posted various other photos of inspirations, including Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Ringo Starr in his White Album era, and Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride.
“You better go see Street Fighter when it’s in theaters,” Schulz joked in his Instagram post. “This took 20 hours to do and removed all sexual desire from my wife…”
Originally created as a parody character, in the Street Fighter mythos, Dan Hibiki is an overconfident fighter, and also not the best fighter at all. Clearly, Schulz’s brand of comedy is perfect for this specific character.

Street Fighter release date
The new Street Fighter movie, based on the popular video game series, does not have an official release date, but is expected sometime in 2026. The cast also includes Jason Momoa, Callina Liang, and David Dastmalchian. Walton Goggins is also rumored to appear.
How to stream the original 1994 Street Fighter
Back in 1994, Jean-Claude Van Damme famously starred in a wild live-action movie version of Street Fighter. You can currently rent that movie on streaming from Google, YouTube, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime Video.
