According to a celebrity gossip site, the disgraced former prince began screaming a four-letter tirade of abuse after he found an unwanted surprise in the VIP toilet
The disgraced former Prince Andrew is known for his hot temper and his rude behaviour towards staff – and according to reports he showed both during a visit to Edinburgh Airport.
According to the celebrity gossip website Popbitch, the outburst occurred when Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was unhappy with a ‘surprise’ that had been left for him in a VIP toilet at the hub.
An anonymous reader called ‘Tartanqueen’ wrote in with the following story: “One of my friends worked at Edinburgh Airport where apparently there is a loo which is only for the Royals.
“Prince Andrew was passing through the airport (presumably on his way to play golf somewhere), and needed to use the facilities. Someone else, presumably a member of staff, had also needed to use them. And had unfortunately left a ‘floater’.

“Prince Andrew was furious, screaming to everyone who would listen, ‘Is this how you treat the f***ing Royals!?'”
There are numerous other incidents of Andrew losing his temper and he is alleged to have bullied members of staff, often choosing to humiliate them in the process.
In Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, one person who worked for him recalled: “Andrew always behaved as if he was frustrated about not being the first-born and therefore destined to become king. This frustration made him a bit of a bully in private, I think.”
And it’s not the first time that he has brought unwanted headlines to Edinburgh Airport. In a batch of Epstein Files released last year, it emerged the disgraced royal flew from Luton to Edinburgh Airport on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet in September 2006, two months after the US banker had been arrested on underage sex charges.
He was accompanied by Ghislaine Maxwell – currently serving a 20-year sentence in the USA for her role in Epstein’s sex trafficking operation – and two other people on their way to a wedding in Scotland.
The royals often use the airport when they are flying to and from Edinburgh, although the most memorable occasion came in September 2022 when the late Queen Elizabeth’s coffin was flown south from Edinburgh – marking her final departure from her beloved Scotland.
