Andy Cohen had a strong reaction to Martina Navratilova’s comments on surrogacy.
On the Tuesday, August 5, episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, the 57-year-old Bravo mainstay discussed a since-deleted post on X that the tennis legend — who is married to Real Housewives of Miami cast member Julia Lemigova — shared while dissing surrogacy last month.
“What Martina tweeted was, ‘Surrogacy is wrong,’” Cohen explained. “She said, ‘Surrogacy is just wrong. Sometimes you can’t have it all.’ Well, here’s the deal, that’s just ill-informed and dumb.”
“Basically, she’s uninformed on the issue, so I just think she’s not informed,” Cohen admitted. “It’s a bad take, what can I tell you? She’s just wrong.”

The topic is close to Cohen’s heart, as he welcomed son Ben, 6, and daughter Lucy, 3, via gestational surrogacy.
“Julia did say on Watch What Happens Live, and we were live, and I didn’t want to start debating it — I will ask her this at the reunion — what she said was Martina’s tweet was kind of misinterpreted or misrepresented,” Cohen noted, making it clear it would be a topic of conversation at the upcoming RHOM reunion.
Lemigova, 53, appeared on the July 30 episode of WWHL and said she did not see eye to eye with the nine-time Wimbledon champion, 68, on the matter.
“Well, you know, Martina and I share a bed, but we don’t share a brain. And we not always agree on different views, but I believe in surrogacy,” she remarked. “It was kind of put out of context, and I completely disagree with her comments.”
