Angelina Jolie Unveils Blonde Hairdo on ‘Anxious People’ Set

More than ever, followers of fashion are obsessed with what’s happening on Hollywood sets. From the filming of The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Katie Holmes’s forthcoming Happy Hours trilogy to the disc0urse-sparking American Love Story and its approach to Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s style, the greatest source of conversation this summer in style circles has come from on-set wardrobes.

Well, that trend won’t be slowing down any time soon, at least not now that Angelina Jolie has begun filming her new movie adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s bestselling novel, Anxious People.

The Oscar winner was spotted on set in London this past Thursday, where she turned heads thanks to a chic, monochromatic outfit, as well as a new, bright blonde hairdo.

Angelina Jolie is spotted on the set of her forthcoming film adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s novel Anxious People.

While filming her scene as the character Zara, Jolie looked austere in an all-cream fit. The ensemble consisted of midi dress with a silk scarf along the neck layered underneath a billowing wrap coat with a belt detail that was hidden, save for a small section where it looped out in the front.

To complete her look, Jolie wore a pair of matching ivory heels, and she accessorized her coat with a large brooch with black and green details. She also popped on a pair of golden earrings.

However, the detail that was most arresting was Jolie’s short blonde bob—a look that was totally new for her (but funnily enough, very on-trend).

This will be the second adaptation of Anxious People, after Netflix transformed the book into a six-part miniseries back in 2021. Marc Forster (Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland) will serve as director, while David Magee (Life of Pi, Mary Poppins Returns) will pen the script. Aimee Lou Wood and Jason Segel will also star.
