Anne Hathaway is opening up about her third baby on the way.
During her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Odyssey star, 43, raved about how “amazing” her pregnancy has been so far. Hathaway, who’s currently expecting her third baby with husband Adam Shulman, also revealed that she was “shocked” to learn she was pregnant again.
“Oh, my gosh. It’s amazing. It’s amazing,” she told host Seth Meyers of her pregnancy. “I mean, we knew what we were doing, but we were so shocked it worked.”
“We were so shocked it went this way, so we’re calling this one our buzzer-beater,” Hathaway added with a laugh.
The Mother Mary star, who’s already a mom to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, shared a video on her Instagram on Friday, June 19, announcing her pregnancy news. Wearing a flowy white dress, Hathaway walked into the frame with her arms in front of her stomach.
She smiled, hugged her stomach and then ran out of frame. “x Baby, I’m yours x,” she captioned the post.
A rep for Hathaway didn’t immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.
Later that month, an insider told PEOPLE that Hathaway is “focused on family” as she gears up to become a mom of three.
“She’s grateful for where she is in her career and for the opportunity to be part of a film that means so much to so many people,” the exclusive source told PEOPLE. “Complaining just isn’t Anne. She approaches things with gratitude and professionalism, and that’s exactly how she handled the press tour.”
“Right now, she’s focused on family and enjoying a little downtime,” added the source, noting her upcoming releases of The Odyssey (out July 17) and this fall’s Verity.

During the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, the source said Hathaway wanted to keep attention on the much-awaited sequel. They added that the actress wanted to “reveal the pregnancy on her own terms.”
“Anne was excited about the movie and wanted the attention to stay on the project,” the insider shared. “She has always been very good at separating her personal life from her work life.”
“She wanted to reveal the pregnancy on her own terms,” the source continued. “The press tour was about celebrating the movie and getting fans excited to see it.”
