Anne Hathaway, who plays a queen in her new movie The Odyssey, just got the royal treatment — and it couldn’t have been cuter!
While appearing alongside her Odyssey costar Tom Holland on Thursday’s episode of Today, the Oscar-winning actress — who is pregnant with her third child — immediately began to choke up when she was presented with a surprise gift by the show’s cohost Craig Melvin.
“We wanted to celebrate you and celebrate your bun there in the oven, so we got you a baby gift,” Melvin said as a basket was brought out and given to Hathaway.
“When the child comes out, we want the child ready for battle, Melvin joked. “It is a Trojan outfit, custom-designed for the baby,” he noted, as an emotional Hathaway fanned her face before pulling out the Odyssey-inspired outfit, complete with a crocheted diaper cover, helmet, sandals, and yes, even a little cape that the soon-to-be mother of three appeared to be particularly delighted by.
“I’m dying,” Hathaway shared. “This is appropriately epic, thank you so much. This is amazing.”
Holland, too, was impressed and called the outfit “so cute,” to which Melvin replied, “So, Tom, when you have your child…”
Without missing a beat, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day star interjected with, “I’ll know where to come. I’ll come right back here.”

Last month, Hathaway announced that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman in an Instagram video. “x Baby, I’m yours x,” she captioned the clip which featured the song “Baby, I’m Yours” by Barbara Lewis.
In the clip, she walks in front of a fireplace wearing a white dress before uncrossing her arms to reveal a baby bump. She then hugs her stomach, smiles, and walks off camera.
Hathaway and Shulman, who tied the knot in 2012, share sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. She spoke to PEOPLE in April about their partnership. “He supports me completely. This year in particular was unusual. He and I both know that it’s probably never going to happen like this again,” she gushed, referencing the five films she has opening this year. “And the way he stepped up, I mean, in every possible way, he’s the most extraordinary person I’ve ever met.”
As for those aforementioned five flicks, two of them — Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2 — were released in the spring, while the other three — The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street, and Verity — are on the way. The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17.
